EPILOGUE: THE MAGICAL HEALINGS OF MICHAEL & MARY
These stories provide an epilogue or postscript to Mary’s two plays about adopting an adult and his death two years later — Part II: Meet the Rook & The Island Queen: Part III of Love on the Other Side of Death. Mary shares stories of healing her adopted son, Michael, from complex trauma through loving acceptance of his inner child. After Michael died, Mary’s grief showed in her body. Her scoliosis curve increased and her mobility decreased so severely that she embarked on a healing journey to stand straighter. During this healing process, other past lives as mother and son emerged that helped the health difficulties worsened through grief, and transformed that grief into joyful acceptance.

PART I: LOSS AND LOVE
Part I looks at the relationship between frozen grief and depression — and tells the story of Mary marrying against all odds and communicating after death with her atheist husband John Guillermin, known for his 1970s blockbuster films.
PART II: MEET THE ROOK
Part II tells the story of Michael Brooks, the young man of 35 Mary adopted who died suddenly two years later and his continued existence after death. Mary also describes how she dealt with her overwhelming grief.
Part III unravels a 3,000 year old past-life story of a matriarchal queen and her son and their relationship to the 21st Century lives of Mary and Michael. Witness the archetypes of Mother & Son come alive in the present.
